This is God's fire! These are His flames!

There is this fire that burns
inside of me!
It burns
Higher and Higher!
Hotter and Hotter!
But it cannot just stay inside,
it must be spread
worldwide!

God, I have nothing to hide.
You saved me from myself - in the flesh
From the devil himself - who made me such a mess
I'll bring all my darkness into Your Holy Light
And follow Jesus through the most difficult night.
Oh, Holy Spirit, thanks for being the perfect guide.

I'll praise You through my every trial!
Yes, I'll go to the second mile!

This passion burns
inside my heart, igniting my soul
Turns to ashes
every selfish goal!
Sometimes it causes me pain
but this holy inferno always promises
good change.

Where life is meaningless,
Where illness
straps the broken and lost in chains,
Where inside the people is darkness,
an ideal atmosphere for demons,
There, let Your fire burn supernaturally
bright!
There, let the eyes of dead spirits be opened at
the sight!

The power of God
is made perfect in my weak body!
His might
is how I fight
for His will.
These flames won't allow me to be still!

I'll be God's example in this
wicked
corrupt
faithless
generation!
I know He has dark places for me to shine in.

So please, God, have Your flames burn the old me away
And make me what You meant me to be today!

Only, don't just change me by Your flames,
No, change all of Your children,
Of whom only You know all their names,
From the inside, change all of Your children, worldwide!
